At just twenty, Benjamin Grosvenor is already a most acclaimed young British pianist – a household name, an EMI recording artist and now a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist.
Oliver Condy, Editor of BBC Music Magazine, explains why he has recommended today’s concert:
With his staggering technique and mature musicianship, it was no wonder that Benjamin Grosvenor played at the opening night of the 2011 Proms and has since been listed as one of the Telegraph’s top 10 Britons of the year.
