The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment – ‘Britain’s indisputably best period-instrument ensemble’ (The Independent) – bring their vitality and freshness to Bach’s Fifth Brandenburg Concerto, the joyous E major Violin Concerto, and the melodious Orchestral Suites (Number 3 including the Air on the G string).
