If The Artist and Hugo have got you intrigued by the world of silent movie, indulge in the real thing as Symphony Hall becomes a giant cinema for one night only, and two laugh-a-minute Harold Lloyd classics are given the deluxe treatment with live orchestral soundtracks. High and Dizzy tells the tale of a precariously balanced sleepwalker, whilst in The Freshman a teenage geek goes to college and tries to win popularity in the football team – eventually scoring the winning touchdown and getting his girl. It could be straight out of an all-American teen movie! With every action on screen brought to life in music composed and reconstructed by charismatic conductor Carl Davis, this is sure to be a very special evening for film fans of all ages.
