The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Waltz of the Flowers, the Kingdom of Sweets …everyone loves Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker . But it’s so much more than just the the famous bits; it’s a sweeping, magical fairytale of love and redemption, brimming over with fantasy, colour and irresistible tunes. What better showcase for the energy and joie de vivre of our superb Youth Orchestra and Children’s Chorus than this full-length concert performance – and what better guide for you and for our young musicians than Alexander Vedernikov, a former music director of the Bolshoi itself? See you there!
