Birmingham’s musical cultures celebrate the Olympic spirit of achievement, endeavour and friendship. A feast of emotion and sound created by some 400 choral and percussion performers reflecting the cultural diversity of young people and adults living in Birmingham and the West Midlands. The programme includes a world premiere of a specially commissioned ground-breaking work for all participants by award winning Midlands’ composer Christopher Long.
