Folk For Free: Llama
Echo Rising Stars Series 17th Season
Symphony Hall Cafe Bar
This event is archived
Llama bring their unique blend of folk songs, flamenco and fado to Birmingham on their European tour as ECHO Rising Stars for 2011/12. Five years ago, percussionist Ravid Goldschmidt found himself busking on the streets of Barcelona with his hang drum (a UFO-shaped melodic instrument). He soon realised combining the hang with the vocals of Silvia Perez Cruz could create beautiful music which defies genre.
Presented in association with Moseley Folk Festival.
The Folk For Free series is supported by Arts Council England.
Free event.
