This is a group originally supported by Birmingham Jazz as part of its link with the Chicago contemporary jazz scene; it is celebrating its 10th anniversary having toured the UK in 2002 and played Chicago in later years. It features Tony Bevan on the awesome bass saxophone, John Edwards on bass and two brilliant musicians from Chicago: trombonist Jeb Bishop long associated with Ken Vandermark, but now forging his own career, and percussionist Michael Zerang, whose range of percussion instruments makes him much more than just a jazz drummer.

£5
Concessions £3.
Tickets are available on the door at The Lamp Tavern, Barford Street, off Macdonald Street, B5 6AH.
