Phronesis is an a Scandinavian/British trio led by Danish bass player Jasper Hoiby and featuring the excellent British pianist Ivo Neame and Swedish drummer Anton Eger. This is a wonderfully interactive trio that is best heard in live performance; its first live CD entitled simply Alive was voted the Jazz Album of the Year in 2010 by both Jazzwise and MOJO magazines and it has appeared to great acclaim at major British, European and North American festivals.
