Keith & Julie Tippett: A Couple in Spirit + Deep Joy Quartet

The Deep Joy Quartet is a double drum quartet featuring Miles Levin and Mark Sanders behind saxophonist Paul Dunmall and bass player Paul Rogers. They gave a brilliant performance at the tribute to the late Tony Levin at mac in June 2011 and come together again for this concert and a short tour. They are joined at mac by the wonderfully imaginative Couple in Spirit duo pianist Keith Tippettand vocalist Julie Tippett. Contemporary jazz at its absolute best and most varied.
