Ken Vandermark Trio
Ken Vandermark is a leading figure on the burgeoning Chicago contemporary jazz scene and tours Europe regularly with different bands. This trio, featuring Ollie Brice and Mark Sanders, is a version of the trio originally set up and toured by the Jazzlines team. Their powerful music is a mixture of compositions and free playing.
Steve Tromans Quartet
A gem of the local and national contemporary jazz scene, composer and pianist Steve Tromans supports Ken Vandermark Trio with his quartet, featuring Mike Fletcher on alto sax and flute, Miles Levin on drumkit and Chris Mapp on double bass.
