Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances, Bhupinder Singh Chaggar will no longer be able to perform. He will be replaced by Shri Pritpal Singh Rai.

Giuliano Modarelli is a talented guitarist who is joined by tabla player, Pritpal Rai. Together they re-shape a 5000 year old tradition by taking notes of a rãg and intricately manipulating them with skilful improvisation to create contemporary music that is beautifully eclectic, unique and perfectly symbolises the music of 21st century Britain.

Shri Pritpal Singh Rai is a student of the legendary Pandit Sharda Sahai, and began playing tabla from a very young age. He is the Guru Bhai of ‘Shri Bhupinder Singh’. Pritpal is based in Birmingham, where he pursues his passion for tabla through teaching and performing locally as well as nationally.
