Polar is an HD journey to the magical frozen lands and seas at the ends of the Earth. Come with us to experience the great ice fields of the Arctic and Antarctic in this stunning production of music and film.
See the white blizzards, dazzling blue oceans and vast wilderness of the South. Watch the mighty polar bear, the haunting beluga whales and beautiful humpback whales in the company of the CBSO, performing the live soundtrack, specially chosen and arranged by John Harle.
”With the lyrical music of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky marrying rhythm, melody and harmony to unforgettable and some never-seen-before HD footage, alongside Sibelius’s symphonic power matching the colossal scale of these icy, remote landscapes, Polar is an ode to these mysterious and monumental regions of the world that will move you with its stunning imagery and music.” John Harle
