Tiny Tours – ‘The Organist Who Lost His Notes’

Through the ‘Mantle of the Expert’ approach, inspire your pupils to explore Birmingham’s local history through learning all about one of its oldest buildings, the Town Hall. Tiny Tours is a specially designed drama and music trail that introduces local history in a fun and interactive way. Become detectives and enlist the help of important historical characters while you begin to delve deep into Birmingham’s past and unlock the magical power of one of its oldest instruments – the Town Hall organ!

The project has been designed in partnership with Needless Allies Theatre Collective, with the ‘local history’ module of the history curriculum in mind. Accompanying resources about the history of the Town Hall will be provided for teachers.
