Bollywood Dreams

On Saturday 2 July 2011 Town Hall hosted a performance of Bollywood Dreams presented by Bollywood Dreams Dance company.
In advance of the show Ladywood primary schools and play centres were offered a FREE dance workshop for years 5/ 6 and children aged 5-12 years. The workshops involved one dancer from the production visiting each participating group to give the children involved a background to Bollywood dance. Participants were also able to learn a short dance routine with accompanying hand gestures and foot movements using story which they were able to perform with the rest of the audience on the day of the performance. In addition families of participating children were offered half price tickets for the performance.
