Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit & His Friends

On Saturday 5 March 2011 Town Hall hosted a performance of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit & His Friends presented by Town Hall Associate Artist Orchestra of the Swan narrated by children’s television favourite Lorna Laidlaw.
In advance of the show THSH were able to offer Ladywood Children’s Centres and primary schools a series of free musical workshops. The sessions involved two musicians from the orchestra and a singer delivering workshops at each community venue to teach songs from the performance and introduce children to the musical score. In addition, half price tickets were offered to families of participating children for the performance.
