A number of publications involving Julie’s work here have been printed:

Duke Bluebeard’s Castle: A selection of poetry inspired by the opera with libretto. Including libretto by John Lloyd Davies (from the original Hungarian by Béla Balázs) and poetry selected by Julie Boden and written by Connie Ramsay Bott, Chris Coleman, Rachel David, Roz Goddard, Hazell Hills, Cathy Perry, Catherine Whittaker and Diane Wiggett. Produced for Opera North’s performance of Duke Bluebeard’s Castle at Symphony Hall in 2005 with support from Poetry Central and Arts Council, England.

Bluebeard’s Wife (Pontefract Press, 2005) – A sequence of eighteen sonnets by Julie Boden inspired by Bartok’s Duke Bluebeard’s Castle and written as a fellow at Hawthornden Castle.

Bluebeard’s Wives (Heaventree Press, 2007) edited by Julie Boden and Zoë Brigley with a Foreword by Sophie Hannah and including the work of 24 writers including Jo Bell, Jane Commane, Jo Roberts, Sibyl Ruth, Jane Holland and Helen Dennis.
