Ensure the Future

Town Hall and Symphony Hall are managed by the registered charity, Performances Birmingham Limited. We welcome over half a million people to around 800 concerts and events every year in our wonderful concert halls and elsewhere in Birmingham. We are also committed to our local community and we connect over 13,000 young people and adults to a world of music with our broad and exciting education, community and talent development programme.

In recent years, we have seen a 42% reduction from our principal funders Birmingham City Council and, whilst we appreciate its continued commitment, we need charitable support from audience members like you, more than ever.

Whether it is £10, £100 or £1000, your gift will:

• Offer life-changing musical experiences to thousands of school children in disadvantaged areas of the city;
• Expand, develop, and produce a range of projects that focus on improving young people’s confidence, well-being, and learning;
• Provide opportunities to young and aspiring local talent to learn alongside world-class musicians;
• Host exciting, free, and affordable events, so that everyone can experience great art in our city.

Please consider supporting Performances Birmingham Ltd today. We offer a number of ways that you can get involved and have a closer relationship with us. If you would like to discuss your gift or find out more about our work, please call Sally Pennington, Development Manager (Individual Giving) on 0121 644 5072 or email development@thsh.co.uk

Aspiring Talent, Associate Artists and Exciting Commissions

THSH prides itself on not only being a platform for amazing up-and-coming artists and developing talent within Birmingham, but also creating opportunities to learn skills that will take young people into later life.

Learn and Join in – Education & Community

Everyone remembers the first time they visited THSH or heard their first concert – the excitement and the goose bumps! By supporting this fund with a regular gift you can help us to reach out to thousands of young children from disadvantaged areas. With your help, we can create musical experiences that will leave lasting memories.

Maintaining our Halls and Technical Equipment

Our iconic Halls are beautiful both inside and outside, and with your help we can continue to keep them in pristine shape and excellent working order. This fund will include investment into our backstage areas, instruments and technical equipment so that we can continue to welcome the best artists and orchestras in the world.

Where it is needed most

Your donation will be used towards all areas of our work, from creating inclusive content on our website, purchasing new music software for the Patrick Music & Multimedia Studio, or to help facilitate transport for a youth group who may not be able to attend without our financial assistance
We should like to thank all of our supporters for their generous contributions to our charitable work over the last year.
