BBC Radio 3 : Meta4

The young Finnish string quartet Meta4 is one of the rising stars of the international chamber music scene. First prize winners at the International Shostakovich Quartet Competition in Moscow (2003) and the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna (2007), they have been selected as a BBC New Generation Artist for two years starting in September 2008.

Having already made their Carnegie Hall debut, this season they will also appear at the Concertgebouw and the Palais des Beaux-Arts.
