BBC Radio 3 celebrates the 200th anniversary of Mendelssohn’s birth with a live broadcast of its drivetime show In Tune presented by Sean Rafferty. The BBC Philharmonic and Nicholas Kraemer take to the platform joined by international talent.

Violinist Tai Murray performs Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, organist Thomas Trotter plays the very same instrument Mendelssohn used when he visited Town Hall in 1837, and the BBC Chorister of the Year, Alice Halstead, sings his O for the Wings of a Dove.

Tickets are FREE

There is an optional charge of £2 to cover postage and administration.
