Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra

Following on from last year’s sell out shows at the Royal Albert Hall and the critically acclaimed version on BBC2, Bill Bailey’s surreal comic and musical imagination is let loose once more as he brings this show to Symphony Hall. Performing with some of the finest orchestras throughout Britain, accompanied by Anne Dudley, one of the UK’s most celebrated composers and arrangers. At Symphony Hall he will be joined by the CBSO.

A classically trained musician, Bill has for many years covered all kinds of music in his comedy and this show takes the form of an irreverent guide to the instruments of the orchestra, plus 70s cop show music, news themes, Bill’s own songs, and some of Anne’s specially written new works. Hear the trombone’s affection for Cockney music, and find out what bassoon players are secretly obsessed with.
