Brass Gala Concert

Join us for an afternoon of world-class brass band music from Black Dyke Band, Cory Band and Grimthorpe Colliery Band.

Black Dyke Band is the most successful contesting band in the world, having won the British Open no fewer than 29 times and the National Championships 21 times. Cory Band visits Symphony Hall fresh from its win at the European Championships under the baton of Dr Robert Childs. Grimethorpe Colliery Band is best known for the soundtrack to British film Brassed Off – which incidently includes scenes filmed in Town Hall.
