We wanted to bring to your attention a few points that may affect your travel arrangements to and from the concert:
Other sell-out events in Birmingham
We have been informed that there are other sell-out events in Birmingham this weekend, including a concert on Saturday evening at the National Indoor Arena. Please bear this in mind when considering the time needed to travel to and park in Birmingham. For a full list of parking options in the city, please visit www.birmingham.gov.uk/parking.
Change in the advertised timings
St. Matthew Passion will be approximately 150 mins long, rather than 131 mins long as previously advertised. Therefore, with the addition of the 20 minute interval, this means that the concert will finish at approximately 10pm. Apologies for any inconvenience this amendment may cause.
Maintenance works outside Symphony Hall

The nearest access for vehicles is Cambridge Street. Walking access to the front entrance via Cambridge Street, Centenary Square or Broad Street is not affected by these works.
