A unique project featuring and celebrating some of England’s finest female singers and songwriters. The performance features both traditional and contemporary ballads from the likes of Kate Bush, Lal Waterson, PJ Harvey, Anne Briggs, Shirley Collins and more. The guests are supported by an all-star band featuring legendary guitarist Martin Carthy and award winning melodeon player Tim Van Eyken. Musical Director for the project is Kate St John.
