Charpentier’s exquisite Messe de minuit, complemented by the French carol tunes on which it is based, forms the centrepiece of a concert which will take you on a Grand Tour of the great European centres of Baroque music. This glorious programme of Baroque Christmas music also features works by Bach, Bouzignac, Buxtehude, Gibbons, Monteverdi and Schütz.
