Fabulous Fables

Fri 1 Feb 8:00pm at Town Hall

South Birmingham Sinfonia is a Bournville based amateur orchestra. Founded 30 years ago, the orchestra has recently grown and developed a high standard of performance under its inspired conductor, Lee Differ. Playing regularly to packed houses, the orchestra makes its first appearance at Town Hall. The premiere in this evening’s performance The Magic Jigsaw was written by Lindsay Lucas (and arranged for SBS by Lee Differ). It is based upon a poem by Edward Dent, a 7 year old Birmingham boy who died of cancer in 1989. It was in his memory that the Edwards Trust was founded.

All seats £8.50
