Scott Matthews
Scott Matthews released his debut album Passing Stranger on the San Remo label, through Island Records to widespread acclaim in Oct 2006.
His celebrated performance on Later With Jools Holland, had Damon Albarn and Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol among countless others, singing his praises.
Scott has recently toured with Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Rufus Wainwright, Bert Jansch and The Foo Fighters. He has also recently covered Bob Marley’s Is This Love for the album Island Life celebrating the 50th anniversary of Island Records.
Scott was presented with the highly prestigious Ivor Novello Award for his track Elusive and also had the honour of presenting the much-loved John Martyn with his 2008 Mojo Honours Les Paul award.
