The award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the nation’s premier Beatle group The Bootleg Beatles (‘magically real’NME) are delighted to announce they will team up for a second time for a number of special concerts in 2019 and 2020 to mark the fiftieth anniversaries of the releases of two of The Beatles’ most iconic albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.

This second collaboration follows their hugely successful 10-concert date tour in 2017-2018, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sgt Pepper, the real band would have struggled to fake it as well as this…. it was as exhilarating as that remarkable album itself.

The Times

The tour marks 50 years since the release of these final two albums – Abbey Road (released 26 September 1969) and Let It Be (released 8 May 1970), and will explore the journey to the end of The Beatles – celebrating the music of this era and the legacy that endures to this day.
