With the two explosive chords, Beethoven’s Eroica symphony launched a new era for music – and created a world of limitless sonic possibility. So Ilan Volkov and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra pair it with three dazzlingly inventive new pieces in an evening drawing inspiration from Volkov's renowned Tectonics Festival in Reykjavik and Glasgow.
