Trumpeter Tamás Pálfalvi is already something of a star in his native Hungary, and in this gloriously entertaining recital you’ll hear why!

Trumpeters aren’t generally shy and retiring types, but Pálfalvi has the stage-presence of a pop star. His programme is filled with melodies and tongue-twisting fireworks – but there’ll be poetry too, in Enescu’s Légende, plus Bartók played with unmistakably authentic flair.

ECHO Rising Stars: Nominated by Müpa Budapest.
