“I dream of a whole new world of unsuspected sounds” said Edgard Varèse, and if his mind-bending music sounded extraordinary in the 1920s, it’s just as stunning today, when works like Intégrales and Déserts are recognised as 20th century classics.

Birmingham’s world-renowned Contemporary Music Group curate an evening-long journey through Varèse’s sonic wonderland conducted by Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla and CBSO assistant conductor Jaume Santonja Espinós in the vast, resonant spaces of the Town Hall.

This concert will be presented on the flat at Town Hall.
