The pioneering British Paraorchestra is the world’s first professional ensemble for disabled musicians. THSH is proud to present their Birmingham debut, headed by a genuine innovator in the world of classical music, their inspirational conductor Charles Hazlewood. At the centre is Towards Harmony by Lloyd Coleman – a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and clarinettist in the ensemble. This is followed by Adrian Lee’s new work A which has its roots in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, the narrator for this piece is the sensational actor, writer and founder of The Graeae theatre group Nabil Shaban.
