Find us on Facebook and YouTube to watch Braimah Kanneh-Mason perform a never-before-seen set, filmed at the world-renowned Symphony Hall, when it's broadcast on Friday 18 September at 7PM.

As a music charity, every day that Town Hall and Symphony Hall are closed puts the livelihood of musicians and artists, staff and suppliers in jeopardy. The current COVID-19 crisis will dramatically limit our ability to present the many learning, talent development and community engagement projects that form a vital part of our work and positively impact almost 20,000 young people and adults each year.

22-year-old Braimah Kanneh-Mason studies violin at the Royal Academy of Music with Jack Liebeck. He is also member of The Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra and Chineke! Orchestra. As a soloist, Braimah enjoys regular performances across the UK and has most recently appeared at St John’s Smith Square with the London Contemporary Orchestra, The Royal Concert Hall with the Nottingham Symphony Orchestra and at the UK Diversity Legal Awards. He has received masterclass tuition from Priya Mitchell, Tasmin Little and Corey Cervosek and is currently an artist in residence at Brighton College. Braimah has also performed with the band Clean Bandit, appearing with them on The X Factor and Top of the Pops. and on their No. 1 single ‘Rockabye’.

Braimah currently performs on a Jean Baptiste Vuillame violin, kindly lent to him by the Beare’s International Violin Society.
