The most successful contesting bands in the world, the Black Dyke Band and the Cory Band, return to the Symphony Hall Stage. Their track record of competition victories and landmark debuts are assurances of the superb musicianship on display, not only from the named soloists, but from both bands.

Joined by guest soloists, including 2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Award winner Isobel Daws, and with a programme of specialist Brass Band repertoire combined with familiar well-loved pieces the Black Dyke Band led by acclaimed brass conductor Professor Nicholas Childs and the Cory Band led by Philip Harper will delight again.
