Join us at Symphony Hall to celebrate the talent, commitment and enthusiasm of young musicians from Ladywood. The annual Generation Ladywood Showcase is one of THSH’s flagship Learning & Participation projects, and we can’t wait to share it with you! The performance will consist of the world premiere of this year’s Jazz Electives compositions led by this year’s composers John K Miles and Chris Mapp, a marching set from Bostin Brass and a Big Sing for everyone to join in plus more!

The performance will involve performances from over 250 primary pupils and over 50 secondary from 14 different schools within the Ladywood constituency who have been working hard in rehearsals to rehearse and create the pieces of music you will hear today!

Generation Ladywood is kindly supported by Alan Woodfield Charitable Trust, Baron Davenport’s Charity, BHSF, Capita, Dumbreck Charity, Eveson Charitable Trust, G J W Turner Trust, George Fentham Birmingham Charity, Grimmitt Trust, Heathcock Charitable Trust, Leverhulme Trust, Patrick Trust, Peter & Jane How Trust and R V J Cadbury Charitable Trust.

Town Hall & Symphony Hall would also like to thank all of our generous individual supporters who have made a donation towards this project.
