PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION

As a music charity, every day that Town Hall and Symphony Hall are closed puts the livelihood of musicians and artists, staff and suppliers in jeopardy. The current COVID-19 crisis will dramatically limit our ability to present the many learning, talent development and community engagement projects that form a vital part of our work and positively impact almost 20,000 young people and adults each year.

Gary Quinn

A 5 time British Country Music Association Awards winner including most recently retaining 'Male Vocalist of the Year 2017' and previously 'UK Songwriter of the Year' and consecutive 'Song of the Year' honours, Northern Irishman Gary Quinn has become one of British country music’s more established performers. Quinn cites U.S. country artists such as Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley as influences, has toured with Phil Vassar and shared the stage with acts such as Kristian Bush, Sarah Darling and hall of fame songwriter Bob DiPiero. An accomplished performer, Quinn is just as comfortable with a pen in his hand and has recently collaborated with Grand Ole Opry member and Grammy winner Steve Wariner as well as Benita Hill (Garth Brooks), Jenn Bostic and David C Banning (Joey & Rory, Chris Cagle).

Having garnered international praise and an array of awards for his eponymous debut self-titled album, Gary teased the release of his new body of work with the single ‘Shame’ that was premiered by The Boot.com earlier this year and went on to debut at no.7 in the UK iTunes country chart. 'Shame' set the tone for the multi-award winner’s most personally insightful release entitled ‘I Remember’ which debuted at no.5 in the UK iTunes country chart. Quinn’s work stills sees regular radio airplay on the BBC and many of the top country stations in the UK and around the world including Chris Country, Downtown Radio, Nixa Country and 2Country Radio.

Kezia Gill

Derby-based singer/songwriter Kezia, has been singing professionally for over 10 years. A delicious mix of Irish and country influence, her sound is completely unique.

Kezia plays all over the country, not only performing her own material, but bringing her own vocal style to a variety of classic covers; With her unique vocal style, and skilled acoustic guitar playing, she makes every song her own.

2017 saw the official release of her self titled Album “Kezia”. It received support from BBC Introducing and the title track “House of cards” reached no 22 in the line dance charts.

2018 was an extremely successful year, seeing Kezia win Female Vocalist of the year at the CCN Awards, and take home the Peoples Choice Award for Soloist of the year at the BCMA Awards.

2019 has been her best year yet, kicking off with a tour in Australia, including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and a trip to Nashville where she co-wrote a single for release in 2020 with Nashville producer Beau Fuller, as well as numerous festival appearances including the Long Road, as a BBC Introducing Artist. Kezia was the most nominated artist at this years BCMA Awards, being nominated in 5 catagories, and took home the award for 'Best Female'.  With festivals, new music and tours already lined up for 2020, Kezia’s success shows no sign of slowing down.

Gasoline & Matches

With their debut single ‘Fool’s Gold’ topping the UK iTunes Country Chart, a headlining performance at The Hard Rock Café London and a five date Californian tour in the bag, Gasoline & Matches were quick to prove why they were named as Lyrics Magazine’s ‘Artists to Watch’ in 2018. Sally Rea Morris and Steve Marks deliver a unique blend of Fleetwood Mac-esque harmonies, Brad Paisley-infused guitar solos and energetic live performances.

The duo initially met back in 2011 when their paths crossed in a guitar shop in Birmingham. Shortly after meeting, Sally was due to move to America, so they decided to write, record and perform just a handful of shows together before she left. Upon Sally’s return, it was a matter of weeks before she and Steve reconnected and formed Gasoline & Matches. Enlisting the help of experienced producer Gavin Monaghan and the more recent addition of Jamie Clayton on bass, Ben Marshall on keys & banjo and James Randle on drums for their studio & live performances, it has allowed the duo’s sound to develop and bring the songs alive. They have already grabbed the attention of critically acclaimed Nashville song writing legend Phil Vassar, who invited the duo to share the stage with him on his April tour. They also performed on the mainstage ahead of The Vamps, Jessie J & Kaiser Chiefs at PetLife 2018.

The duo gained momentum through a string of festival appearences and radio play, and picked up 'Duo of the Year' at The British CMA Awards 2018.
