Internationally acclaimed Scottish Chamber Orchestra join forces with fellow Scot Nicola Benedetti as she play-directs Mozart’s Third and Fifth Violin Concertos which bookend their first performance in Birmingham for the first time in over 15 years. Anna Clyne’s powerful Within her Arms has been compared to Barber’s Adagio for Strings for its radiance and intensity, and provides a moving contrast to Mozart’s exhilarating ‘Haffner’ Symphony.

Pre-concert presentation at 6:15pm featuring highlights of the upcoming Birmingham Classical 2019/20 season, presented by Town Hall Symphony Hall Head of Artistic Programming Richard Hawley. This presentation will be signed by a British Sign Language interpreter.
