Join Queer Eye's Tan France as he discusses his heartfelt, funny, touching memoir Naturally Tan as part of his exclusive UK book tour marking his first public appearances in the UK.
Don’t miss this fantastic and rare opportunity to hear directly from Tan, and experience his trademark wit, humour, and radical compassion, as he discusses what it was like to grow up gay in a traditional South Asian family, as one of the few people of colour in South Yorkshire. You’ll hear about how he found his voice, and his style, his coming of age, and his coming out, and happily marrying the love of his life - a Mormon cowboy from Salt Lake City.
If you have purchased a book with your ticket, you will be able to collect it on the night from the on-site bookseller Foyles. You will be able to buy additional copies from the on-site bookstall if you would like to.
Tan will be posing for photos for a limited time after the event. Wristbands will be given out to the first 250 people in the queue. Only those with a wristband will be able to stay for a photo afterwards. If you are issued a wristband but have not pre-purchased a book, you will need to buy a copy of the book from the Foyles stall, for which you will be given proof of purchase. Tan will pre-sign books for all those with wristbands and the signed books will be given to you in the photo queue after the event. A member of staff will take a photo on your phone. There will be no boomerangs, videos or selfies allowed.
Doors open at 7pm. The show starts at 7.30pm.
