A match made in Birmingham

Town Hall Birmingham and local independent specialists The Designer Vintage Company are teaming up to present Town Hall’s first ever bridal boutique on Sunday 20 January.

The day-long event will showcase some of today’s most talented designers and bridal companies and illustrate how the Grade I listed building – which already holds a wedding licence – can be transformed into a stylish, elegant and unique wedding venue.

The Designer Vintage Bridal Boutique will bring together over 50 exhibitors displaying a range of wedding essentials from gorgeous bridal gowns, shoes, jewellery and millinery, to cakes, photography, gifts and more. Prospective brides and grooms will be able to browse the many stands, meet and talk with inspirational designers, seek advice from industry professionals, and enjoy catwalk shows and demonstrations.

There will also be an opportunity to talk to the Town Hall team, view VIP areas of the building and see how the favourite city landmark can make a stunning and beautiful setting for the big day.

Birmingham-based specialists The Designer Vintage Company put on their debut show in 2011 and, as co-director Clare Guest says, “The concept of the show is to bring together high quality, designer brands who take their inspiration from as early as the 1920s right through to contemporary designs but with a vintage twist. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be hosting our first show of 2013 in one of Birmingham’s most iconic, beautiful and, as we’ve discovered since meeting the team behind it, adaptable and imaginative venues.”

Charlotte Torlo, Commercial Manager at Town Hall & Symphony Hall said, “Having already hosted a number of weddings and receptions, we are really looking forward to Town Hall’s first bridal show and are delighted to have found the perfect partner in The Designer Vintage Bridal Boutique. We are looking forward to showcasing Town Hall as an exclusive and unique setting for ceremonies and receptions and our exceptional in-house team who look after every detail ahead of, and on the big day.”

Designer Vintage Bridal Boutique is at Town Hall Birmingham on Sunday 20 January (11am-7pm). Tickets cost just £5 from http://www.designervintagebridal.co.uk or on the door. VIP tickets are available at £10 and include a goody bag and complimentary welcome drink.
