Amadeus awarded catering contract for Town Hall

Iconic Birmingham venue Town Hall has awarded its catering contract to retail and event caterer Amadeus, following a complex six-way tender process.

Amadeus will provide banqueting and conference catering for all commercial hire events at the city centre venue, and have worked with their award winning chef team to develop a range of exclusive Town Hall signature menus that can only be experienced at the venue.

We are thrilled to have Amadeus on board, having identified them as our ideal catering partner. We were looking for a caterer who could match up to the impressive surroundings of Town Hall by offering creative catering at the highest standard. Amadeus are renowned for the quality of their food offering, and this, coupled with their expertise in the catering industry, fills us with confidence that together we can deliver a unique world-class experience to new and existing clients. – Director of Operations at Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham, Nick Loveland

The Grade I listed building, managed together with Symphony Hall by the charity Performances Birmingham Limited, has an established reputation for hosting conferences, gala dinners, awards events, catwalk shows, drinks receptions, film screenings and weddings amongst other events.

This is a significant win for Amadeus and we are pleased to be adding yet another landmark City Centre venue to our portfolio. We already hold the catering contracts for the NIA and the ICC Birmingham, so to be awarded the contract for another two of the most iconic buildings in the country’s second City, in the space of just a few months, is a huge triumph. This win with Town Hall Birmingham, and recently the café facility at the Library of Birmingham further our reputation as one of the leading venue catering companies in the UK. – Managing Director of Amadeus, Kevin Watson
