Arts Council England announces continued funding for Jazzlines

We are delighted that Arts Council England has reaffirmed Town Hall & Symphony Hall’s NPO status for a further three years, enabling us to continue to deliver our highly successful Jazzlines programme of live music and innovative education and talent development work. In the three years since being incorporated as part of Town Hall and Symphony Hall, Jazzlines has not only made a significant contribution to musical life in Birmingham but is already recognised as a major creative force in the UK jazz scene.

Jazzlines presents live music in venues across the city from internationally-renowned musicians to the brightest new names. Central to Jazzlines is a rich education programme aimed at discovering, developing and promoting emerging musicians and artists at all levels from primary school to post-graduate. It includes the Jazzlines Trio, Ensemble, Summer School, Jazz Electives, Women in Jazz and Jazzlines fellowship programmes.
