For the third year running, Symphony Hall has been honoured at the annual Best of Broad Street Awards ceremony, after scooping the Best Entertainment Venue Award jointly with the International Convention Centre
It’s the second gong we’ve picked up this week, after Paul Keene – our Director of Programming – was honoured with the Association of British Orchestra and Rhinegold Publishing’s first ever ‘Concert Hall Manager of the Year’ award last night. Read more here
It’s a particular pleasure to get this award just as Symphony Hall starts celebrating 21 years of bringing great music to Birmingham. One of the world’s greatest concert venues is situated on Broad Street, and each year Symphony Hall contributes over Â£12m to the local economy, connecting nearly 400,000 people to music of all kinds. Birmingham is rightly proud of the service that we and our ICC colleagues offer to our visitors’
