At Town Hall Symphony Hall we pride ourselves on playing host to some of the most talented, driven and inspirational young artists on the music scene today, and Nicola Benedetti proved herself to be no exception when she captivated the audience with Camerata Salzburg earlier this year.
Nicola is fiercely committed to music education and we are delighted to announce that she has kindly signed a Stentor student violin to help THSH raise funds towards our education and community project – Generation Ladywood.
So far, with the help of generous individuals, we have connected with 10,000 young people and their families with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of music, with activities ranging from pop-up performances in Birmingham’s playgrounds to in-class music tuition for 9 – 11 year olds.
The violin will make a unique and inspirational gift for any budding young musician, the perfect souvenir, or a priceless token for the dedicated music lover. The auction starts NOW and will end on Tuesday 8 September. Please bid and help us to ensure the future of our vital education work.
