Meet the Hound Dogs searching for a new home

Dog Arthur With Text

Many people have recorded and performed the hit song Hound Dog including Jimi Hendrix, The Everly Brothers, John Lennon, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Muppets; but none are more synonymous with it than Elvis Presley.

On Wednesday 25 February, The TCB Band with special guest Dennis Jale and The Imperials will perform all of the classic Elvis Presley songs at Town Hall. Enjoy hits from his NBC Comeback Special in 1968 right up until his death in 1977, including the legendary 1969 Las Vegas concerts at the International Hotel.

Ahead of this rock ‘n’ roll party at Birmingham’s iconic live music venue, Town Hall Symphony Hall have teamed up with the Dogs Trust Kenilworth to introduce you to some local ‘Hound Dogs’ looking for new homes in the West Midlands.

Walter

Walter

One-year-old Walter is used to a home environment so is understandably missing his home comforts. He’s a wonderful chap who can be shy initially with new people so is looking for a quiet adult-only home with new owners who will give him space when he needs it.

He loves his food so a few tasty treats is sure to win him around whilst he gets to know you. He enjoys the company of other dogs and could live with one in his new home.

Can you offer Walter the forever home of his dreams?

Jack

Jack

Four-year-old Jack has lived in a home previously so is missing his home comforts. He’s looking for a quiet but active home with new owners who will have the time to settle him in.

He enjoys a gentle fuss as well as exploring on a walk. He gets on well with other dogs and could live with the right one in his new home. He could live with older teenagers of 16 years or over who will be sensible around him.

Could Jack be the one for you?

Arthur

Arthur

Six-year-old Arthur is a sweet boy who has got a sensitive side. He’s looking for a fairly quiet but active home with new owners who will have the time to train and exercise him.

He would benefit from some basic training once he goes to his new home to help him reach his full potential.

He could possibly live with another dog and children over eight years old who will take their time getting to know him. Time being left alone will need to be built up gradually until he finds his feet.

Are you the forever family Arthur is looking for?

Diego

Diego

Six-year-old Diego is a lovely lad with a lot of energy to burn! He enjoys a walk and plenty of exercise so would love an active home with owners who can offer him this. Toys are his favourite thing ever so you’ll soon win him round with lots of playtime.

Diego also enjoys the quiet side of life and can often be found chilling out with his canine carers in the afternoons.

Diego could live with children over the age of 12 who are used to lively dogs but he would prefer to be an only dog in the home.

Could you be Diego’s special someone?
