Sashay to Brum for an eleganza extravaganza with these Queens

Blame It On Bianca Del Rio

Later today Comedy Central premieres a brand-new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with All Stars Season 3 bringing back to the screen some of the show’s favourite Queens. But if you want to see the best of the breasts, legs and thighs live in person, you can say ‘Hello, Hello, Hello’ to the legendary stars at Symphony Hall and The Glee Club in the coming months.

The Glee Club boasts live performances this year from Trixie Mattel, whose shock elimination from Season 7 led to the #JusticeForTrixie campaign by outraged fans; the only Queen to have been saved in a double ‘shantay you stay’ twice, Alyssa Edwards; Latrice Royale, who memorably lip synced for her life in S4 as an expectant mother to ‘You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman’ and Shangela, the comedy queen who has appeared in three seasons of the hit TV series.

Over Birmingham Pride Weekend, Symphony Hall will play host to drag star favourites in the fierce new show The Official RuPaul’s Drag Race World Tour. Hosted by celebrity judge Michelle Visage with sickening performances by Kim ChiLatrice RoyaleShangelaSharon NeedlesViolet ChachkiValentina and a surprise guest from the all new 10th season; Shangela calls it “The most outrageous and talented collection of queens that have ever toured together”.

After last year’s sell-out UK tour and sold out shows worldwide, Bianca Del Rio will be bringing her brand-new comedy show to Symphony Hall in July. The self-proclaimed “clown in a gown” and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner is back and Blame It On Bianca Del Rio promises to be more tongue-lashingly hilarious than ever!

I hope you're ready for some filthy, nasty, hateful humour because I'm coming to Birmingham with a brand-new comedy show.

There will be more Queen’s coming to Birmingham in 2019, with a rescheduled appearance from Katya Zamolodchikova at New Alexandra Theatre. The RuPaul's Drag Race Miss Congeniality and All Stars S2 finalist was scheduled to perform in the city next month but has recently postponed her visit.

Hi, my name is not Katya. I am Brian, a recovering drug addict and workaholic. I need to take some personal time for my mental health to heal and recover. All of my tours and shows will be postponed until 2019. Your local venue will provide you an update over the next several weeks. Peace be with you.
