Wow! The end of 2011 already?!

The past 12 months have been full of memorable events, great music-making and many outstanding projects here at THSH HQ and we look forward to bringing you news of plenty more in 2012.

There are still many fantastic events taking place at both Town Hall and Symphony Hall in the next few weeks. Please note, our hard-working Box Office team will be taking a well-deserved rest over the Christmas and New Year holidays and operating on reduced hours:

Saturday 24 December (Christmas Eve) – 10am to 3:30pm
Sunday 25 December (Christmas Day!) – CLOSED
Monday 26 December – 10am to 4pm
Tuesday 27 December – 10am to 8pm
Wednesday 28 December – 10am to 8pm
Thursday 29 December – 10am to 8pm
Friday 30 December – 10am to 8pm
Saturday 31 December – 10am to 8pm
Sunday 1 January – 12pm to 8pm
Monday 2 January – 12pm to 4pm

Before we sign off for the seasonal holidays (normal service resumes in early January) we’d like to take a moment to share with you some Christmas and New Year survival tips, contributed by members of Team THSH and our super-duper Facebook fans and Twitter followers:

Leave at least one Christmas present to open on Boxing Day, thereby prolonging the joy of Christmas – Lyle
Deep breaths and meditation. If that fails, swear quietly and drink alcohol – battydash
Cold turkey and cranberry sauce sandwiches – the sandwich of choice for the discerning Christmas fan – Rosie
