Staging Services have been shortlisted for ‘Best Staging Supplier’ at the 2018 Event Production Awards. They'll be battling it out against two other UK staging companies, to include Acorn Structures and Star Events.
Their entry to this year’s EPA is a result of the unique partnership they have built with Town Hall, Symphony Hall. Over the last year Staging Services has developed and delivered a bespoke flooring solution to cover the stalls area; temporarily transforming the venue from internationally acclaimed conference venue to brand new, city centre, banqueting venue.
The Event Production Awards (EPAs) is taking place at a new venue – The Novotel London West, on 28th February 2018 and is returning to the first night of the Event Production Show, International Confex and Office.
"As a venue we wanted to explore how we could look at using the venue as a completely unique event space – with a view to particularly being able to host dining events.
Staging Services came up with the Next Stage concept – a completely unique floating floor solution which sits over the existing fixed seats within Symphony Hall. This has proven to be a fantastic concept and one that allows us to work closely with clients to help create a truly special and memorable event space. This has allowed to us reach new audiences, both with the range of concerts/performances that can be housed in this format and with the new corporate clients we’ve been able to attract to the venue because of the Next Stage concept.
It has seen us host a number of very successful events in the Next Stage format and allowed us to generate additional income as a result. It really has been a great success and a collaborative partnership, with excellent support from Staging Services throughout." - Nicole Evans, Head of Commercial Services
