Strictly Come Dancing 2019 line-up confirmed

Strictly Come Dancing returned to BBC One this weekend where fifteen stars from the worlds of comedy, acting, sport and social media took to the ballroom to find out which professional dancer they would be partnered up with for the new series.

To celebrate the launch of series 17, Town Hall Symphony Hall share the confirmed couplings of the Strictly professionals who are set to bring some Strictly magic to Town Hall and Symphony Hall in 2020.

Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice

Best known for her role as a judge on the US reality TV show RuPaul's Drag race Michelle Visage joins Giovanni Pernice who, for the third time in four years, reached the Strictly final in 2018 with dance partner Faye Tozer before placing joint runners up.

Giovanni Pernice brings his brand new show This Is Me to Town Hall in March 2020.

Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke

EastEnders actress Emma Barton has been paired with King of the ballroom Anton Du Beke who has been on the show since it began in 2004. Last year, Anton was the first to be eliminated alongside partner Susannah Constantine.

Anton Du Beke returns to Symphony Hall in January 2020 to dance those magical movies with long-time professional dance partner Erin Boag.

Emma Weymouth and Aljaž Škorjanec

Fashion model Emma Weymouth takes to the floor with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec. In 2019, he was partnered with BBC newsreader & broadcaster Kate Silverton and was voted out in week 9.

In April 2020, Aljaž and Janette Manrara return to Symphony Hall with their brand new show Remembering the Oscars.

Will Bayley and Janette Manrara

Also fighting for the glitterball trophy is Paralympian Will Bayley and professional dancer Janette Manrara. Last year, Janette made it to 10th place with celebrity partner Dr. Ranj Sing.

Janette will join Aljaž in April 2020 for Remembering the Oscars in, what promises to be, a dazzling return to Symphony Hall.

Anneka Rice and Kevin Clifton

TV presenter Anneka Rice joins last year's Strictly winner Kevin Clifton for a shot at the glitterball trophy. Kevin won the series with dance partner Stacey Dooley.

Kevin Clifton is joined by sibling Joanne Clifton for the first ever UK tour of Burn the Floor in April 2020.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals

The Strictly professionals also welcomed newest judge Motsi Mabuse to the floor where they performed some show-stopping moves to celebrate her debut.

Following the success of the 2019 UK Tour, Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals returns to Symphony Hall for a sparkling new tour in May 2020.
