World class concert venue Symphony Hall Birmingham, celebrating its 21st birthday in 2012, is to debut at Confex alongside stunning Grade 1 listed sister venue Town Hall Birmingham.
Symphony Hall, with a 2,200 capacity theatre style auditorium and adjoining breakout foyer spaces, has recently enjoyed a high profile entry into the world of private events, hosting major televised political party conferences.
It is particularly fitting that we are introducing Symphony Hall to event organisers at Confex in this, the venue’s 21st year. Our in-house team of creative event professionals have been delivering high standards of support to hundreds of world-class artists and orchestras consistently for years – it’s now the perfect time to put those skills towards presenting excellent private event experiences to clients in a completely unique setting.
– Andrew Jowett, Director of Town Hall and Symphony Hall
Since reopening after a £34 million restoration, sister venue Town Hall Birmingham has quickly established its place amongst the leading venues in the city for events, such as banqueting dinners, award ceremonies, conferences, exhibitions or drinks receptions.
The landmark city centre building has to date worked with Barclays Wealth, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Excellence Awards?, KPMG, Deloitte, BBC, the Institute of Directors, Wragge & Co and HSBC.
Both Town Hall and Symphony Hall benefit from a dedicated in house team skilled in ensuring arrangements from the planning stages through to managing the event on the day are of the highest standard.
Businesses are able to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility objectives by holding their event at Symphony Hall and Town Hall, who are managed by the charity Performances Birmingham Limited and deliver Education and Community projects that reach over 20,000 people annually.
