?Think Venue Think Third Sector? is a co-operative consortia of the many voluntary, charitable and not-for-profit conference and meeting venues in Birmingham, including Town Hall and Symphony Hall (THSH). Its aim is to raise awareness that these venues are open to private and public sector clients as well as to individuals for meetings and events.

Town Hall & Symphnoy Hall Commercial Manager, Charlotte Torlo says, ?In the current economic climate, there is so much pressure on businesses and the public sector, but our range of venues offers value for money, as well as first class facilities and services comparable to profit-driven convention centres and hotels. By choosing to hold an event in a third sector venue, businesses are also helping to meet corporate social responsibility targets.?

Keynote speeches will be delivered by Ed Mayo (Secretary General, Co-Operatives UK) and Councillor Paul Tilsley (Deputy Leader, Birmingham City Council) and there will be an opportunity for guests to meet venues from the TVTTS Co-operative and find out more about each venue?s environmental aims.
