Travel West Midlands and Town Hall Birmingham?s innovative partnership has been short-listed for a prestigious Arts & Business Award.
The ?Town Hall on wheels? featured a giant image of the much-loved venue wrapped around a TWM bus, in advance of the building?s re-opening in October 2007. Over 200,000 people travelled on the bus and it was seen by thousands every day on a variety of routes across the city from August 2008.
The Jaguar Land Rover Awards for Arts & Business in association with The Birmingham Post, celebrate partnerships between the region?s businesses and the arts. TWM and Town Hall have been short-listed in the Clarke Associations A&B Cultural Branding Award, awarded to a partnership that reinforces the branding and marketing activity of a business through the use of culture.
The winning partnership will be announced at a ceremony at Town Hall on 9 October.
